Waiting on Wednesday (24)

"Waiting On" Wednesday is a weekly event, hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, that spotlights upcoming releases that I'm eagerly anticipating.

This week's pre-publication "can't-wait-to-read" selection is:

This Is Not A Test by Courtney Summers

Expected publication: June 19th 2012

It’s the end of the world. Six students have taken cover in Cortege High but shelter is little comfort when the dead outside won’t stop pounding on the doors. One bite is all it takes to kill a person and bring them back as a monstrous version of their former self. To Sloane Price, that doesn’t sound so bad. Six months ago, her world collapsed and since then, she’s failed to find a reason to keep going. Now seems like the perfect time to give up. As Sloane eagerly waits for the barricades to fall, she’s forced to witness the apocalypse through the eyes of five people who actually want to live. But as the days crawl by, the motivations for survival change in startling ways and soon the group’s fate is determined less and less by what’s happening outside and more and more by the unpredictable and violent bids for life—and death—inside. When everything is gone, what do you hold on to?

As a huge zombie fan, I seriously can't wait to read This Is Not A Test! Plus, combining six different people in one location is bound to have some drama, so that sounds extremely exciting all by itself. I've heard some great things about it from a few fellow blogs, and since I live by their recommendations, this is a totally must - read right away - read. And I just LOVE that cover!

My 'waiting on' Shows for Summer 2012

True Blood's fifth season debuts June 10 at 9pm on HBO

Teen Wolf's season two debuts June 3 at 11 on MTV

Bunhead's series debut is June 11 at 9 on ABC Family

Pretty Little Liar's season three debut's on June 5 at 8 on ABC Family

Oh summer television, how I love you just as much as Fall and Spring! It feels like FOREVER since I last watched True Blood, but since it basically rocks, it always feels like it never ended once it starts back up again. The same can be said for Pretty Little Liars! I definitely can't wait for more werewolf drama with season two of Teen Wolf, season one ended on a high scale of awesomeness. And, I am looking forward to Bunhead's, ABC Family always gets me hooked! This weekend will be spent with recap marathons for sure!

What's YOUR 'waiting on' pick? Watching any good shows this summer?
